The official teaser of Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming Telugu film Aakasamlo Oka Tara (AOT) was released on Friday at 11 AM, opening the film's final promotional stretch ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on November 20, 2026.
The teaser announcement was shared by the makers on October 16 through a new character poster featuring debut actress Satvika Veeravalli, who plays the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan.
A young woman daring to dream
Directed by Pavan Sadineni, the film is centred on a young woman who dares to dream beyond the expectations society places on her. Dulquer Salmaan plays Krishna, a character look that was revealed earlier, while Shruti Haasan appears in a significant role.
The story has been written by Sadineni along with Vasanth Jurru, with screenplay and dialogues by Gunnam Gangaraju. The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam, and presented jointly by Geetha Arts, Swapna Cinema and Lightbox Media.
Pan-Indian release
Aakasamlo Oka Tara is planned as a pan-Indian theatrical release in four languages — Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam — on November 20. The technical crew includes cinematographer Sujith Sarang, editor Praveen K. L., production designer Shwetha Sabu Cyril and costume designer Pallavi Singh, with visual effects by Eggwhite VFX.
The film is the latest major Telugu project for Dulquer Salmaan, following the appreciation he earned for Mahanati, Sita Ramam and Lucky Baskhar. A song from the film, Kutti Kutti Poove, was released on July 28 this year to mark the actor's birthday, and music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar recently praised the film on social media after watching it.
