Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV have announced a new mytho-fiction series centred on the life and spiritual legacy of Neem Karoli Baba, with the first promo unveiled on September 30.
The promo introduces the world of the upcoming show without revealing too much about its storyline. A voiceover hints at a series of extraordinary and mystical tales connected to the revered saint, while the visuals feature his trademark shawl and a reference to Lord Hanuman. SonyLIV shared the promo on social media with the caption, "Coming soon on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV." The makers have not yet announced the cast, episode structure or premiere date.
The announcement comes at an interesting time, with Neem Karoli Baba's story already drawing considerable attention in cinemas. Hanuman Ansh, the devotional biographical drama based on his life, has emerged as one of the surprise hits of 2026. Directed by Dr Vishal Chaturvedi and based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, the film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand and presents a dramatic account inspired by Neem Karoli Baba's life and teachings. After a slow start in theatres, its collections grew steadily on the strength of word of mouth.
Neem Karoli Baba, whose Kainchi Dham ashram in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand draws thousands of devotees, has long been a spiritual figure with a global following.
The promo's voiceover says, "Jis insaan ki kahaaniyon ne desh ko mantramugdh kar diya, ab saamne aayengi unki zindagi se judi chamatkari gaathayein" — promising that the miraculous tales connected to the spiritual guru's life will now be seen on screen. As per the promo, the show has been titled 'Neem Karori Baba'.
