The wait for one of Bollywood's most beloved sequels just got a little longer. The makers of 'Khosla Ka Ghosla 2' announced on Tuesday that the comedy will now hit theatres on March 5, 2027, moving it from its earlier date of August 28, 2026.

The announcement, carried by IANS and reported across trade media, came with a brand-new poster and the tagline "Deal Pakki!" — a nod to the film's famous property-scam plotline that turned the 2006 original into a cult classic.

Original cast returns, new faces join

The sequel reunites the core ensemble from Dibakar Banerjee's original: Anupam Kher returns as the eternally exasperated Kamal Kishore Khosla, alongside Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Kiran Juneja, Tara Sharma and Parvin Dabas. The new additions include Ravi Kishan and Divya Khosla Kumar, Pinkvilla and ANI reported.

Fresh team behind the camera

Umesh Bisht directs the sequel, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath and Raaj Hiremath, according to IANS. The original film, released in 2006, was celebrated for its razor-sharp satire of Delhi's real-estate underworld and went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.

Nearly 21 years after Khosla's plot taught a generation of moviegoers to double-check their property papers, the sequel arrives with enormous goodwill — and, with this postponement, a fresh burst of anticipation for March 2027.
