Trading platform eToro will begin shifting existing clients to a redesigned, AI-centred trading application from October 4, 2026, according to a client communication reviewed by Finance Magnates.
The migration will happen through a phased rollout. Accounts, login credentials and portfolios will carry over automatically, so clients will not need to create new profiles or move their positions. eToro has not disclosed which clients or jurisdictions will be migrated first.
The redesigned app includes revised portfolio displays, expanded asset pages, advanced charting tools and new viewing modes for portfolios and watchlists. The centrepiece of the interface is Tori, the broker's AI assistant, which is being positioned at the heart of the trading experience. eToro says the rebuilt application should also run faster than the current version.
An early-access application labelled "eToro AI" will be retired once users are moved onto the updated main app, consolidating the company's AI features into a single product.
The move reflects a broader push across the retail trading industry toward AI-driven interfaces, as brokers compete on analytics, personalization and execution speed. It arrives in a busy week for the sector: CMC Markets is preparing an October 1 public launch for a simulated prop trading programme, while UK regulators have continued shutting down CFD firms with little domestic presence.
For retail investors, the eToro migration is designed to be seamless — but clients should still verify that their portfolios, orders and watchlists appear correctly after being moved, and update the app when prompted in October.
