KUALA LUMPUR — Huawei Cloud has launched CodeArts Agent in Malaysia, an enterprise artificial intelligence platform designed to accelerate software development, making the tool commercially available to businesses in the country.

The platform is built around 16 specialised AI agents that work together across the software development lifecycle, covering architecture, coding, testing, troubleshooting and code review. According to the announcement, the system can operate across codebases running into tens of millions of lines and comes with more than 30 reusable engineering skills.

Availability and early-bird offer

CodeArts Agent is now commercially available in Malaysia. As part of an Early Bird Programme, eligible enterprises can receive three months of complimentary access to the platform's Professional Edition, giving companies a window to evaluate the tooling before committing to paid plans.

A crowded AI coding market

The launch adds to Huawei Cloud's push into AI-assisted developer tooling at a time when coding assistants are becoming central to enterprise software teams. By combining multiple agents that handle distinct engineering tasks rather than a single general assistant, the platform is aimed at teams managing large, complex codebases where architecture decisions, testing and review consume the bulk of engineering time.
