Digital services major Jio Platforms is likely to get listed by the end of this month at an enterprise valuation of $143-146 billion, or above Rs 12 lakh crore, according to sources tracking the development quoted by PTI. The issue, estimated at about $3.8 billion, would be India's largest public offering.
The company has concluded overseas roadshows held in the US, the UK, Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore, led by Jio Platforms managing director and Reliance Jio chairman Akash Ambani and Reliance Retail Ventures executive director Isha Ambani. It is expected to file final papers with market regulator SEBI in the week starting October 12, after receiving SEBI's final observations on August 28. Banking sources said the company is expected to start an anchor round before Dussehra, with the issue opening post-Dussehra before October 23.
Offer and financial details
According to its draft prospectus, the company plans to issue up to 27 crore fresh equity shares, equivalent to about 2.9 per cent of its post-issue equity base. For FY26, Jio Platforms posted a 15 per cent rise in profit after tax to Rs 30,053 crore and a 14.5 per cent increase in annual revenue to Rs 1,46,885 crore.
