Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan on screen after 15 years with a special appearance in his upcoming action film 'King', according to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla published on Monday. The makers have not officially confirmed the casting.

The 'Daddy Cool' number

Pinkvilla reported that Kareena will feature in a special song titled 'Daddy Cool', to be filmed over a roughly five-day schedule in South Africa later this month. The number is being mounted on a grand scale and has been composed by Sachin-Jigar, with the report adding that it will pair an Indian artist with an international artist, though their identities are being kept under wraps.

The two stars last shared the screen in films including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Don and Ra.One, making this a reunion 15 years in the making, the report noted.

About 'King'

'King', co-written and directed by Siddharth Anand, is one of the most closely watched Hindi films in production. The cast announced so far includes Shah Rukh Khan alongside Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi and Raghav Juyal.

Times Now also carried the story on Monday, while stressing that there has been no official word from the film's team. As with all unconfirmed casting reports, the details should be treated as reported rather than announced until the makers speak.
