Oppo has confirmed that its next-generation ColorOS 17 software will be unveiled globally on October 13, with the India rollout happening the same day. The new software is based on Android 17 and was first shown in September.

In posts on X this week, Oppo India described ColorOS 17 as "silky smooth" and teased an AI feature called Mind Suggest, which the company says is designed to anticipate what users need before they ask for it.

"No stutter, no delay - just Silky Smooth ColorOS 17. Once you experience real fluidity, there's no going back," the company wrote in one of the posts.

Find X10 series first in line

Oppo's upcoming Find X10 series will be the first smartphone lineup in India to ship with ColorOS 17 pre-installed. The company said the flagship series will make its global debut on October 21 in Mallorca, Spain. The new phones are designed to deliver a "Hasselblad True-to-Life Camera" experience, combining camera hardware with Oppo's next-generation LUMO True Image Engine.

Enco X4 and Pad Mini teased

Alongside the software announcement, Oppo India teased the arrival of the Enco X4 true wireless earbuds and the Oppo Pad Mini tablet. Both products are already on sale in China, but their India launch dates have not been announced.

In a promotional poster shared on X, Oppo showed the Enco X4 in white under the tagline "Built for Studios, Tuned for You", confirming a collaboration with audio brand Dynaudio. The earbuds launched in China at CNY 1,199 — roughly Rs 17,100 — with an 11mm dynamic woofer and a 6mm planar tweeter, adaptive active noise cancellation, an IP55 dust-and-water rating, and up to 13 hours of battery life on their own and 53 hours with the charging case, according to CNBC-TV18.

The Pad Mini starts at CNY 3,699 in China — about Rs 51,000 — with an 8.8-inch AMOLED display running at a 144Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, an 8,000mAh battery and 67W wired charging. Oppo has not yet announced India pricing or launch dates for either device.
