Pakistan clinched the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka with a commanding 82-run victory in the second match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday, taking an unassailable 2-0 lead.

Sadaqat and Farhan power Pakistan to 215
Put in to bat, Pakistan posted 215 for 3 — their highest T20 total on home soil. Maaz Sadaqat smashed 96 off 51 balls, falling four short of a maiden T20I century on the final delivery of the innings, while captain Sahibzada Farhan scored 73 off 44. The pair added 88 for the second wicket in 49 balls. Sri Lanka's sloppy fielding proved costly: Sadaqat was dropped on 44 and Farhan survived chances on 2 and 11. Sadaqat's seven sixes matched the record for the most sixes by a Pakistan batter in a T20I.

Sri Lanka fold for 133
Chasing 216, Sri Lanka collapsed to 133 for 7. Mohammad Imran led the bowling with 3 for 11 in four overs, while Salman Mirza claimed two wickets. Chamindu Wickramasinghe (29) and Maheesh Theekshana (32 not out) offered brief resistance with a 50-run seventh-wicket stand, but the result was never in doubt. It was Pakistan's biggest T20I win over Sri Lanka.

The third and final match will be played in Rawalpindi on October 13. Sadaqat was named player of the match.
