Palo Alto-based AI infrastructure company PaleBlueDot AI has raised $200 million in Series C funding at a $3.2 billion valuation, as investor appetite for companies selling scarce computing capacity continues to run hot.
The round was led by ComputeCore, with participation from B Capital and other investors, according to FinSMEs, which reported the deal on October 2. The company said it intends to use the funds to expand its operations and development efforts.
Selling the scarce compute behind AI models
PaleBlueDot AI, led by CEO Stephen Watts, describes itself as an intelligence infrastructure platform built for enterprise-scale deployment. Its offering combines self-owned GPU clusters, a GPU marketplace and serverless inference services, giving customers on-demand access to computing capacity across a global network of supply partners.
The company says it serves enterprise-scale customers worldwide, with clients in the United States and Japan accounting for more than half of its monthly revenue.
The funding underscores how venture capital continues to chase the AI infrastructure layer even as the market crowds with competing neocloud providers. With model training and inference demand still outstripping available GPU supply, firms that can aggregate and resell computing capacity have commanded premium valuations.
